Common Questions

What is my role as a postpartum doula?

A postpartum doula provides non-medical, in-home support during the early weeks after birth. My role is to nurture the whole family by offering newborn guidance, emotional encouragement, and practical support so parents can rest, recover and gain confidence.

Is faith-based support available during our sessions?

I am happy to integrate prayer, bible studies or spiritual discussion if you desire it. This is entirely optional and based on your personal comfort and specific needs.

What can you expect during a typical postpartum session?

I have a section at the bottom of my "services" page that includes what care can be provided! Every visit looks different and I shift around what care I provide based on the needs of the family.

When does care begin?

Care typically begins once you are home from the hospital or birth center. Scheduling is flexible and based on your family's needs and my availability.
